Busy With Activities

Our Easter celebrations were just me and Grace going out for Easter dinner.  Sr. Mary Paul was very ill and can't go out very easy for the time being.

We've been very busy with student activities (only 2 open weekends for last 2 months).  The attached photos will show you one of our service weekend trips.
On is with Fr. Giovanni Lee and Grace and all the students in Fr.Lee's church after a nice "party for the soul".

The next morning we took 20+ poor children hiking & played some eco-games. We cleaned the beach with all the students  (this was in the local news paper).  The students are doing community services- clean up,  painting the walls, etc..

Spiritually we are doing very good.  I think the people back home are praying for us.
Tomorrow we are having a Leadership Camp again (they just love it-Camp BSA way!)
This is designed to build their character, and it's been very effective. We're going to have
28 students graduate from the Camp, me and Sr.Hun and Grace will wash their feet.
Just like Jesus taught us.

God bless LMH!!

Thailand Service Trip

The north of Thailand is beautiful and there is a lot of poverty.  They are close to Myanmar. I taught Chinese at Datong Middle School in Thailand, northern Man Xingdie. This area has many Ethnic tribes living in high mountains.

Once I went to the border of Myanmar and Thailand to visit an elementary school of Chinese.  We passed 4 borders check point to the school. One for Thailand inspection station, the other for the north of Thai inspection station, Myanmar inspection station, Dai national minority inspection station. The school is controlled by the army of Dai national minority.  The people who live here are simple and happy to live there.

Facing poverty is shocking. I have seen it on TV or movies but this particular opportunity let me see it and live in the middle of it to experience it. This was a wonderful trip to experience God's compassionate love. Thanks and Praised The Lord!

Celebrations

Peace and Joy be with Missioners.  Chinese New Year is always a big holiday for us.  My friend took me to Taipei Flower Expo as the photo showed.

Yesterday (February 17th) was my birthday.  Grace and some students gave me a nice home party. I played "Romance of Love" for them in return.

In December we invited one hundred plus poor children and their family for a Christmas dinner in European style buffet at the Cathedral. We had 80+ students and teachers from the Department of Food & Beverage Management.  This is the 1st Christmas in Church for many of them. Sr.Hun and I told them the story of little Jesus.

Cheers to all the Lay Mission Helpers!  May the Grace and Joy of the Spirit be with you always!

Christmas Concert In Chiayi

The Christmas Season was a full of joy and activity one by one at the school. This year the Christmas Concert was a lot easier than last year.  I got 33 World News Television Company's assistance so everyone who lived in Chiayi area could see and listen to Classical Christmas Carols and songs.

The Christmas concert lists as Christmas Day the special program, the program was broadcast from 12/23 to 12/25 evening time from 9-12.

I extracted some Christmas carols sung by Sunshine of Charity Association of Chung-Jen from the concert as follows:
